Merchandise Releases:
World of Springfield

Released in USA by Playmates Toys

The 300th Episode environmental set was set to include 4 exclusive figures based on the Simpsons family's appearance from the 300th show. Skateboard Homer, Pajama Bart, "Indian-Burn" Lisa and Casual Skinner were pictured in the production sketch. This was not to be an exclusive, but a regular, mass market item.

Here is what Playmates had to say on this set in 2002:
"The current plan is to do figures of the Simpsons family members dressed in different themes as seen in the 300th episode. As far as the environment goes, I would rather wait and tell you when we have something approved by Fox. Yes, we will develop a very special 300th episode commemorative package for the set."

Peter Byrne, Executive VP of Licensing and Merchandising for Fox Worldwide later said about the set: "[A] special five-figure gift pack - which includes Bart in his pajamas and an extreme Homer (outfitted head to toe in skateboard gear) - is being released to coincide with [the] landmark 300th episode."
