"Times Square" Sketch

This set was originally known as New Year's Times Square playset, according to Collecting Simpsons. Their info said that "this playset... will be modeled after New York City's storied Times Square". That idea (seen in the cancelled design above) was nixed by FOX, who did not want anything not true to the show. The new design, shown at the top, is of the Springfield Town Hall.
