Time for another installment of 20 Questions, this time with member LIChief1.

1. How long have you been watching "The Simpsons"?

I have been a big fan of the show since the first 30-second Ďshortsí appeared on the Tracy Ulman Show in 1987.

2. Who is your favorite Simpsons character?

My favorite character would have to be Carl, followed closely by Groundskeeper Willie, Nelson, and Officer LouÖ

3. What Simpsons character are you most like and why?

Iíd have to say that Iím a synergistic blend of the following: ∑ Homer (Iím an avid bowler) ∑ Willie (he appears to be a gym rat, much like myself) ∑ Nelson (I have been known to laugh at other peopleís screw-ups)

4. Are your friends and family fans of the Simpsons?

Virtually everyone I know is a fan on at least some level. My brother, sisters and father absolutely LOVE the Simpsons!

5. What is your favorite quote from a Simpsons episode?

ďHeís kicking it old schoolĒ - Sideshow Mel ďI like short shortsĒ - Carl Carson

6. What types of Simpsons collectibles do you collect?

Due to a decreasing bank account and ever-increasing credit card bills, I have recently decided to narrow my Simpsons collecting down to: 1) The WOS line 2) DVDís 3) BK toys

7. What item in your collection is your favorite?

As of this moment, Iíd have to say itís my THOH1!

8. What is the most outrageous (or difficult) thing you have done to obtain a Simpsons collectible?

In order to guarantee myself an opportunity to purchase at least one THOHII, I made it a point to stop and check the same three Toyís R Us stores EVERY day on the way home from work for 3 weeks! It wasnít too long before all of the store employees knew my face and why I was there. Hey, at least I eventually got Ďem at retail!

9. What's the most you ever spent on a Simpsons collectible?

$125 (shipped) for a THOH1off Ebay! Iím still mentally kicking myself for not picking up one 6-months earlier, when I saw at least five of them on the shelf while Christmas shopping. Too bad I waited until March before deciding to collect the entire lineÖ Díoh!

10. What World of Springfield figure would you most like to see (that has not been announced)?

Now that Ragin'í Willie has been released (heís the one figure that I wanted the most when I initially began collecting WOS), Iíd have to say itís a toss-up between Drederick Tatum and Titania.

11. Are you a completist? An opener or a MIMP collector? Why?

I suppose that Iím a completist at heart. At this point in time, I have every WOS item that has been releasedÖ except GITDHÖ And YES, I open everything but the exclusives (unless Iím lucky enough to purchase more than one).

12. What are your favorite television shows (excluding the Simpsons)?

Oz, Sopranos, Grounded for Life, 6 Feet Under, That 70ís Show, and Duckman rerunsÖ

13. What celebrity do you want to see guest star on the Simpsons?

Thatís a tough one. As far as musical guests go, Iíd love to see either of my two all-time favorite groups: Nitzer Ebb (highly unlikely, I know) or Depeche Mode. Non-musical guests - well, MYSELF of course, that isÖ once I become famous - or any Kansas City Chief!

14. How and when did you find the SCS site?

I was a member of Billís site for a short time before I joined Markís new & improved SCS the very same day it was launched last year.

15. In what ways do you think the hobby of collecting Simpsons has changed in the past few years?

Things have just exploded in terms of the variety and quantity of releases. Iíd have to guess that there are many more WOS collectors now than when I began last year.

16. What was the first Simpsons item you ever bought?

My first Simpsons purchase would have to be one of those stuffed BK Bart toys, from back in the early 90ís. My first WOS figure was NelsonÖ

17. What is the one Simpsons item you want the most but do not have?

Like so many others, itís the elusive glow-in-the-dark Radioactive Homer!

18. What else do you collect?

I collect: ∑ Starting Lineup figures (Kansas City Chiefs, every Mitch Richmond, New York Mets) ∑ Dinosaurs (especially the much underrated Allosaurus) ∑ DVDís ∑ CDís (mostly 1980ís and early 90ís Industrial) ∑ all types of sports memorabilia ∑ shot glasses ∑ video game systems (Colecovision is still my all-time favorite!)

19. Who influenced you the most from the show (be it character, writer, actor, etc.)?

This may sound weird, but Iíd have to say Groundskeeper Willie and Homerís saintly next-door neighbor, Ned, has influenced me the most. Why? Well, Iím an amateur body builder and both of those these characters have 6-pack abs to die for! All I have to do is look at my Ragin'í Willie figure for immediate inspiration to do yet another abdominal workout. I also strive to achieve Officer Louís Popeye-like forearms.

20. Anything you would like to add?

I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to Mark and all of the many people who make the SCS the informative and enjoyable site it is. Without the SCS, I canít even begin to imagine how difficult it would have been for me to catch up and continue to collect these amazing WOS items, after boarding the ship in Wave 4. Iíd also be remiss if I didnít thank Rick and New Force Comics. As many of you already know, they provide a terrific service to all WOS collectors. Thanks everyone and PLEASE keep up the excellent work!
