Time for another installment of 20 Questions, this time with member homersapien619.

1. How long have you been watching "The Simpsons"?

Since day one

2. Who is your favorite Simpsons character?

23-Way tie between Homer, Bart, Milhouse, Ralph, Moe, Barney, Apu, Mr. Burns, Smithers, Duffman, Lenny, Carl, Eddie, Lou, Chief Wiggum, Mayor Quimby, Grampa, Skinner, Willie, Nelson, Dolph, Martin, & Wendell.

3. What Simpsons character are you most like and why?

Frighteningly enough, I'm a combination of Homer, Willie, Bart, and Duffman. I look sorta like Homer. I'm Scottish. I'm an underachiever. And I can't get enough of that wonderful Duff.

4. Are your friends and family fans of the Simpsons?

Only my younger brother. My parents refuse to acknowledge the show even exists. The few friends I have seem to think cartoons are for children.

5. What is your favorite quote from a Simpsons episode?

Without a doubt, it has to be Freddy Quimby belittling the waiter. "Say it! Say chow-dah!" My family is from Rhode Island, so I get flashbacks - and the occasional seizure - whenever I hear that.

6. What types of Simpsons collectibles do you collect?

Mostly figures. But I do have all 3 episode guides, along with "The Simpsons & Philosophy" & "The Gospel According To The Simpsons", both of which I highly recommend if you need something to read while on the can.

7. What item in your collection is your favorite?

I have to say the Dr. Stephen Hawking figure. I think it has to be one of the greatest ones they could have come out with. Just the fact that the "World's Smartest Person" would have an action figure...

8. What is the most outrageous (or difficult) thing you have done to obtain a Simpsons collectible?

I once worked at Suncoast, and a manager from another store wanted one of the Wave 1 Mr.. Burns figures for one of his customers. It seemed we were the only store that had any left. I lied about having it, saying that a customer had just bought the last one earlier in the day. There were 2 of them sitting in the back, waiting for me. Not very outrageous, but very, very dishonest.

9. What's the most you ever spent on a Simpsons collectible?

I paid about $50 for the entire 1990 Topps card set, in fair condition. But I REALLY wanted that set.

10. What World of Springfield figure would you most like to see (that has not been announced)?

Any of the ringers from the SNPP softball team. It would be great if they all came together in a set, but I doubt they'll ever come out.

11. Are you a completist? An opener or a MIMP collector? Why?

I'm a mixture of all 3. I opened nearly the entire 1st & 2nd series. But I don't have to have every single figure. I don't really need every version of Bart that comes down the pipe. I also don't collect the playsets.

12. What are your favorite television shows (excluding the Simpsons)?

Futurama, Family Guy, King Of The Hill, CSI (both versions), NYPD Blue, The Shield, The Man Show, Insomniac, & The Osbournes.

13. What celebrity do you want to see guest star on the Simpsons?

I'd like to see them actually get one of the former Presidents to do a voice. But not as themselves. Can you imagine Bill Clinton voicing Cletus' brother?

14. How and when did you find the SCS site?

I'll be honest. I don't remember. I've been visiting the site for close to a year now, but I only registered in June of 2003.

15. In what ways do you think the hobby of collecting Simpsons has changed in the past few years?

I don't think its really changed since Playmates started releasing figures. But the figures have really taken the hobby to a new level. It has gotten to nearly Star Wars level among fans. At least that's my perspective. What do I know?

16. What was the first Simpsons item you ever bought?

There was a set of 6 buttons that I got at Kmart for $.99 or something. They're the cheapest things you could possibly imagine, and probably bootleg at that.

17. What is the one Simpsons item you want the most but do not have?

Casino Burns.

18. What else do you collect?

Baseball memorabilia (mostly Tony Gwynn and San Diego Padres)

19. Who influenced you the most from the show (be it character, writer, actor, etc.)?

Homer. Where else but America could a man that dumb be in charge of nuclear safety? (Maybe Russia)

20. Anything you would like to add?

These are probably the lamest answers you've ever received, but I don't really care!
