It's time once again for another installment of 20 questions, this time with member Discogod!

1. How long have you been watching "The Simpsons"?

I first saw it right at the start, but really only watched it occasionally until 1996, when the BBC started showing episodes.

2. Who is your favorite Simpsons character?

Professor Frink. Besides the physical characteristics we share, I just find him so funny it almost makes me laugh. Second favourite is Skinner. He's the most human character on the show.

3. What Simpsons character are you most like and why?

Physically I look like a cross between Frink and Milhouse. Sadly, I also seem to 'go Milhouse' more than is healthy, and I have the obvious flashes of insanity that Frink suffers from. Mm-hey!

4. Are your friends and family fans of the Simpsons?

Most of my friends are avid fans, although not to the obsessive level I am. My mother hates everything to do with the Simpsons, and my father, while not a fan of the show, is a huge Homer fan and has a large collection of Homerabelia.

5. What is your favorite quote from a Simpsons episode?

Anything Frink says is guaranteed to make me giggle like a schoolgirl.

6. What types of Simpsons collectibles do you collect?

Just the WoS figures and playsets. I have a few Burger King figures and comics, but I wouldn't consider myself a collector.

7. What item in your collection is your favorite?

My collection of custom Frink figures.

8. What is the most outrageous (or difficult) thing you have done to obtain a Simpsons collectible?

Running halfway across the 2nd biggest city in the country (whilst supposedly on a college study trip) on the off chance that a local comic shop might have Wave 6 in stock. I bagged me a Frink, which made the intense pain from running all the more worthwhile.

9. What's the most you ever spent on a Simpsons collectible?

35 on a MOC Barney figure.

10. What World of Springfield figure would you most like to see (that has not been announced)?

All my favourites are already out, or are planned. I'd like Gil, and the Box Factory guy, and Charlie.

11. Are you a completist? An opener or a MIMP collector? Why?

Opener. What's the fun in looking at toys if you can't play with them? And, sadly, I have become a completist. I don't collect variants, unless they're really cool (Like Officer Marge).

12. What are your favorite television shows (excluding the Simpsons)?

I try to avoid T.V. whenever I can. I make exceptions for Frasier, Neighbours (Australian soap) and any Charlotte Hornets basketball games that are on.

13. What celebrity do you want to see guest star on the Simpsons?

I'd like to see David Hyde Pierce reprise his Cecil character.

14. How and when did you find the SCS site?

After I bought my first figure I stumbled upon the Simpsons Action Figure Information Station. I found the link to SCS there.

15. In what ways do you think the hobby of collecting Simpsons has changed in the past few years?

The secondary market, specifically eBay, has been both a blessing and a curse. It's now easier than ever to find rare items, but at the added cost of... well, paying more.

16. What was the first Simpsons item you ever bought?

A Mattel Bart action figure. It was the first Simpsons item I ever saw for sale. I followed it with several t-shirts.

17. What is the one Simpsons item you want the most but do not have?

The 2 figures I need to complete my WoS collection, Flanders and Smithers.

18. What else do you collect?

Currently nothing, due to spending all my money on WoS, but I used to collect pre-'90 basketball trading cards, basketball memorabilia and 1/24 scale model police cars.

19. Who influenced you the most from the show (be it character, writer, actor, etc.)?

I can't say I've actually been influenced by the show. Maybe a few quotes, such as 'D'oh!', or 'Excellent', have slipped into my everyday vocabulary, but otherwise I remain relatively untouched, or so I'd like to think.

20. Anything you would like to add ?

Just a big thanks to all the moderators for such a great site, and an even bigger thanks to everyone who mentioned my Retro Frink in the best custom category of the Blinky nominations.

Oh, and before I forget, you must all bow down before Discogod, Evil Overlord and soon to be ruler of the world (projected for mid-2004.). Mwa-ha-ha-ha!
