Magazine:

Time for another installment of 20 Questions, this time with member Griffsta.

1. How long have you been watching "The Simpsons"?

I have been watching The Simpson's since 1990 or 1989, can't remember. The earliest I do remember is the one where Bart is singing at school for X-Mas and gets in trouble for singing it wrong.

2. Who is your favorite Simpsons character?

Pretty much every character is good on the show, but Homer would take home this one. He probably always gets me to laugh. Even on episodes I saw many, many, many, many times!

3. What Simpsons character are you most like and why?

If I had to pick just one it would probably be mostly Lisa. She always questions everything and takes nothing for granted. Then again I do act like Bart sometimes, and then others like Monty Burns. O hell, I could find something in every character that I could attribute to myself. :)

4. Are your friends and family fans of the Simpsons?

My family does not really like it. My friends on the other hand like it, just not as much as I do!

5. What is your favorite quote from a Simpsons episode?

With so many to choose from, and not being able to think of them all I will say its from the episode where Marge has the pretzel wagon. There are two mobs fighting each other and one mobster breaks through the window and says, "Forgiveness Please!"

6. What types of Simpsons collectibles do you collect?

Anything that I like. WoS, Tin stuff, Books, CDs, BK-Spooky, etc..

7. What item in your collection is your favorite?

My Simpson's Gift Collection from the UK. Just because I spent more time getting it then any other item.

8. What is the most outrageous (or difficult) thing you have done to obtain a Simpsons collectible?

Nothing really outrageous. Just ran some little kids over in the toy department.

9. What's the most you ever spent on a Simpsons collectible?

No more then $20.00

10. What World of Springfield figure would you most like to see (that has not been announced)?

The army guy with 1 arm and Skinners mother

11. Are you a completist? An opener or a MIMP collector? Why?

I'm not a completist, because sometimes I have money to spend on things sometimes I don't. I open them suckers up, throw the boxes away and enjoy them! You can't enjoy them through a plastic bubble!

12. What are your favorite television shows (excluding the Simpsons)?

X-Files, Seinfeld, Futurama, Ducktales, Cribs, Real World, MSNBC, and CNN. I don't watch to much TV do I?

13. What celebrity do you want to see guest star on the Simpsons?

Would the president count? I loved the episode with his father. A follow up would be great!

14. How and when did you find the SCS site?

I was looking for Simpson's Merchandise on google.com, and fate brought me here.

15. In what ways do you think the hobby of collecting Simpsons has changed in the past few years?

I really can't say because I've only been collecting for a little less then a year now. I think the internet has helped it out tons, though!

16. What was the first Simpsons item you ever bought?

I bought a book from school when I was in elementary school. It was the first book ever about the Simpsons. On a sad note, I don't have it now.

17. What is the one Simpsons item you want the most but do not have?

Pinball and or Arcade from the early 90's

18. What else do you collect?

Dust. Really I only collect Simpson's stuff, and a few Futurama stuff. I think I'm starting to want to collect toys in general. TMNT would be nice.

19. Who influenced you the most from the show (be it character, writer, actor, etc.)?

Marge. She is always the voice of reason!

20. Anything you would like to add?

I'm just glad that I'm part of this community. I love watching it grow everyday and participating in it. Also, Let's hope The Simpson's have many more good seasons!
