Time for another installment of 20 Questions, this time with member standbyme.

1. How long have you been watching "The Simpsons"?

Since the very first episode, which at the time I must admit I thought that this was NOT a good show for kids to watch, then I realized it really wasn't foremost geared towards children.

2. Who is your favorite Simpsons character?

Grandpa. I almost had a heart attack during the episode where he supposedly died.

3. What Simpsons character are you most like and why?

I would like to say Bart, but in reality I'm probably a mix of Krusty and Ned Flanders. I'm pretty much straight edge, but I have Krusty's outlook on life.

4. Are your friends and family fans of the Simpsons?

Mostly yes, it is a regular Sunday event to watch the show. Ironically I have a friend who worships The Simpsons and throws in random quotes in his everyday speech, but he doesn't collect WOS because their "toys".

5. What is your favorite quote from a Simpsons episode?

"I'm not gay, but I'm willing to learn."

6. What types of Simpsons collectibles do you collect?

None really. I happened to be in Wal-Mart one day and saw the Krusty figure in Wave 1, I picked it up. then went back a day later for the rest of Wave 1. From that day I was hooked. and also hooked two other people into becoming completist too.

7. What item in your collection is your favorite?

You know what they say, your first is always the best, so I would say Krusty. (Although Kang & Kodos are a close second!)

8. What is the most outrageous (or difficult) thing you have done to obtain a Simpsons collectible?

Nothing out of the ordinary, except demeaning myself enough to call TRU daily in order to get THOH2...I hated acting so juvenile, but not enough to NOT do it.

9. What's the most you ever spent on a Simpsons collectible?

I would have to say that the most I ever spent was for the prototype of the original Mainstreet, just kidding, just seeing if you were still paying attention. Seriously, the most I've ever spent for a figure is Pin Pal Moe because I "had" to go for one of those "wonderful" Wizard bundles.

10. What World of Springfield figure would you most like to see (that has not been announced)?

The Red Hot Chili Peppers

11. Are you a completist? An opener or a MIMP collector? Why?

Definitely a completist, although I haven't broken down and bought a GITDH yet. I didn't know about this site at that point in time and missed it. So far my collection is MIMP, just because I haven't got anywhere to display them yet.

12. What are your favorite television shows (excluding the Simpsons)?

Mostly the old classics, which means I get a lot of Simpsons inside jokes. I used to be slightly embarrassed to admit that I LOVED Green Acres, then I saw that Matt Groening also like the show and I felt vindicated.

13. What celebrity do you want to see guest star on the Simpsons?

Jimmy Stewart. They could maybe piece together old dialogue from his movies.

14. How and when did you find the SCS site?

I don't really remember the actual date. It was back when Bill was in charge. I lurked for over a month before breaking my silence. I don't post that often it's usually to confirm a store sighting or something where someone asks for an opinion.

15. In what ways do you think the hobby of collecting Simpsons has changed in the past few years?

Well, since I only collect WOS my opinion is not too inclusive. The only thing I might say is that Playmates finally put out a Simpsons product that even I couldn't live without!

16. What was the first Simpsons item you ever bought?

It was at a flea market, it was one of those toys that has Bart sitting in a donut where you can pick a different saying to put in the speech bubble.

17. What is the one Simpsons item you want the most but do not have?

18. What else do you collect?

CD's, DVD's and some movie posters.

19. Who influenced you the most from the show (be it character, writer, actor, etc.)?

Jackie Mason, because he doesn't bend his principles for no one. Just because he was only hired for one episode, won an Emmy, got a paycheck, he's not going to buckle to a bunch of Simpsons fans that want a souvenir of his guest appearance IF the amount of money isn't what he deems appropriate. (Yes, I'm kidding again.)

20. Anything you would like to add?

Kiss up time. I would just like to say that if it weren't for two things I would have (unfortunately) given up collecting WOS.

#1. This website. It makes it easy to keep up with all the releases, PLUS it is the first website that I have hung out at this long. The moderators are very good at keeping it a nice & friendly atmosphere.

#2. New Force. I am not one of those "love the hunt" kind of guys. I just want the figures, and no one is making my life easier than Rick!
